Master’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology, Advance Diploma in Management, Planning and Public Policy
He is Deputy Director and founding Member of South Asia Partnership Pakistan (SAP-PK), a consortium of South Asian and international NGOs working in South Asia for the development of grass roots initiatives through community based NGOs.
National Secretary of Pakistan Social Forum, and actively involved in forming people's organizations at grass roots mostly in rural and disadvantaged communities in Pakistan. Provided training to social activists and community groups all over the country. Developing innovative programs and seeing through actual implementation of these programs all across the country. Policy planning and policy advocacy at the National level for CBOs, Human rights for International and National NGOs as well as the Government. He helped government of Pakistan in developing National Social Development Policy. He played pivotal leadership role in forming people-based movements on various issues pertaining to human rights, campaigns against all discriminatory laws, women rights, minority rights and restoration of basic human rights.
Planning and implementing regional programs, active participation in establishing people's network, civil society organizations, actively involved in action research, environment and labor movements at the regional and international level. He has conducted action research on advocacy and innovative program ideas for NGOs and Civil Society Groups. He is implementer of Democratic Rights and Citizen Education Program in 104 districts of Pakistan. The program was based on citizens’ political and democratic rights and their role in the Local Government bodies.

He is expert and trainer of Performance Management Framework, Including Logical Framework Analysis (LFA), Result Based Management (RBM), result based reporting and out-put based budgeting skills and value based strategic planning of organizations. He also has expertise as trainer in Strategic Planning for Non-profit Organizations and facilitating small, medium and national level leading organizations for strategic review and planning.
